Technological Infrastructure

The system provides two layers of control:

With the protocol SSL3 (SSL3 of 128 bits, the highest standard of security for sending sensitive information over the internet) every communication that runs from your computer to the server of our bank is protected.

2.      The protocol SSL3 is sent, certified and guaranteed by Verisign, the world leader that certifies with a Secure Server ID that you are communicating exclusively with the our bank’s server.

The entire system is fully integrated with the authorized components and prevents every attempt at unauthorized access thanks to the sophisticated protections for applications and databases.

How the transaction is effected

Once all of the items are placed in the cart and the delivery information is provided, you will be directed to the payment page on one of our bank’s servers protected by Verisign.

You will receive an encrypted SSL3 connection at 128 bits. At this point you will insert the relevant data of your credit card that only our bank will receive.

Our bank will send the relevant data through the authorized circuits of Visa, MasterCard, or American Express to carry out the transaction. Our bank will communicate separately with you (via e-mail) and to Savellireligious.com the outcome of the transaction. The entire process takes about ten seconds and offers a tested and secure payment system.

·         To sum up: credit card data is processed exclusively by our bank with the controls necessary for online payment.

·         Savellireligious.com does not have access to credit card data, and will only handle the information necessary to send the merchandise.

How will I know that the transaction is secure?

To check the security of the connection, just look in the lower left-hand corner of the browser window after entering the server. When a key or a closed lock appears (depending on the browser), SSL is activated.

You can also verify the security of a connection when the first part of the URL (internet address) changes from http to https.
